The role of Summer Di Laurentis has been filled in Off Campus season two!
The Baby-Sitters Club actress Shay Rudolph will be taking on the pivotal role in the second season of the Prime Video television series.
Summer is the sister of Dean Di Laurentis, who is played by Stephen Kalyn on the show. Her arc has an impact on Dean’s love story with Allie (Mika Abdalla).
Prime Video announced the casting in an Instagram video.
“Everyone say hi to Shay Rudolph as our Summer DiLaurentis,” they posted.
In Elle Kennedy‘s book “The Score,” Summer plays a role in Dean and Allie’s storyline through Hunter Davenport. Hunter has a past connection with Summer, where he also becomes involved with Allie. This connection adds tension to Dean and Allie’s relationship and ties Summer’s storyline more closely to the main romance.
