Adele just made her return to Twitter for the first time in nearly nine months!

The 33-year-old singer took to the social media app on Monday afternoon (October 4) while Instagram and Facebook were down. The two social media apps have been down for hours, marking the worst outage for the companies since 2008.

Adele‘s return to Twitter is also just hours after she seemingly confirmed that her upcoming fourth studio album is being released soon. Billboards with the number 30 have been popping up around the world and her social media pages were just changed to look just like those billboards.

Twitter’s official account tweeted out, “hello literally everyone,” on Monday afternoon. When Facebook and Instagram went down, everyone seemed to rush to Twitter to stay connected with the world.

Adele responded to that tweet and simply said, “Hiya babes!”
