Andy Cohen has addressed Porsha Williams’ unexpected engagement to Simon Guobadia after only a month of relationship and while he’s still in the middle of a divorce from his estranged wife and RHOA co-star Falynn. Here’s what the Bravo boss had to say!
On today’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy told his audience that ‘I think it is wild, man. I’m staying tuned. I can’t wait to find out more. That is what I think.’
His reaction to the surprise engagement comes only three days after the news of the engagement came out.
Simon confirmed they had made this new step in their relationship, telling the public that: ‘I asked her to marry me cause we checked ALL of each other’s boxes, and some. We’ve done the individual work to sustain a healthy relationship, and I stand next to her, proud we found each other. What we now have is what we wish every one of you out there – happiness. So when I asked…she said yes. That’s ALL that mattered.’
Not too long after, Simon’s ex wife Falynn also reacted to the engagement, throwing some shade at the happy couple by revealing that the divorce is yet to be finalized.
On her Instagram account, she wrote: ‘I want to thank everybody for reaching out to me and offering all their love and support. At this time, I’m focusing on finalizing my divorce and on healing. Sending positivity to all of you.’
Indeed, while the divorce is yet to be finalized at this point, it seems like the exes reached a settlement last month, as per People.
Meanwhile, Porsha addressed the engagement controversy as well, insisting that she had nothing to do with Simon and Falynn’s divorce which was filed months before she and Simon started dating each other. Source
