Five months after her emotional admittance that she suffered a miscarriage, Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell revealed on Friday June 28 that she is pregnant again!
Mitchell, 32, shared the happy news on Instagram, posting a topless photo showing off her full baby belly.
“Does this mean I’m allowed to drive in the car pool lane at all times now?” she jokingly captioned the photo.
As Radar previously reported, Mitchell exposed her failed pregnancy – of which fans weren’t even aware – in heartbreaking Instagram story post in which she said she “miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams.”
She also posted a photo of the baby’s sonogram with a broken heart emoji.
In her lengthy Instagram post shared on New Year’s Day, Mitchell confessed “We all have to deal with various struggles and challenges in life. And sometimes it’s easier to only showcase the good times on social media, which is what leads many people to criticize it for its lack of authenticity.
“Having so many people follow me on Instagram and read my posts is both incredibly humbling and hugely uplifting. The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days, one of which happened last year after I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams.”
Mitchell didn’t mention who the father of her baby was then, nor did she reveal the identity of the father of her new baby. The Bliss author was most recently linked to Matte Babel, a Canadian host and music reporter, after they were spotted on an October 2018 dinner date at Craig’s restaurant in Los Angeles.
