Surprise! Beyonce and Jay-Z Drop New Joint Album ‘Everything Is Love’ and it’s Everything

Rumors have long swirled, but they escalated in March when the couple announced their joint tour, OTR II. Called “Everything Is Love,” the announcement was made by TIDAL, the streaming company owned by Jay-Z. It features nine tracks, each credited to Beyonce and Jay-Z.
The news began trickling on Saturday afternoon with social media posts containing images from the “Everything Is Love” visual campaign. One image posted by Beyonce received nearly 200,000 likes in less than 20 minutes as many noted that, once again, Queen Bey had broken the internet.
Minutes later Beyonce’s website was updated driving people to Tital to stream the new album.

Now that the album is out some of you may have trouble getting access to it if you don’t have Tidal since its customary at this point for Jay Z’s streaming service to have exclusive rights for their musical releases. No worries I imagine that the album will eventually be uploaded to Apple Music and later Spotify by next week but having early access like this is one of the perks of being a Tidal subscriber. If you haven’t given tidal a chance yet now is the time since you’re probably a Beyonce fan and if not you’ve got to at least be a Jay Z fan right?

How Is The Music? What Happens Now?
Right now It’s too hard to choose a favorite but I’m putting my money on the one they chose as their first single appropriately titled APESHIT, this song is nothing like we’ve ever heard from the duo as Beyoncé actually Raps most of the song in a style thats more like the Migos than a regurgitated verse with Jay Z’s flow.
If I was one of the people who payed for On The Run II tickets with a date previous to today I would be upset. I know that Beyonce is know to change up her setlist and costumes to keep the tour edgy and Beyonce worthy and I imagine that at some point some of the new music is going to be performed from the new Everything is love album especially on the North America leg of the On the Run tour that starts July 25 in Cleveland, OH @ the FirstEnergy Stadium.
Do you think a joint album was a smart move for Beyonce and Jay Z? Obviously they are both powerful on their own, but at a time where people are so interested in their relationship I wonder if Joint tours and Joint albums are their new normal or if it’s all just a phase. Either way I’m happy to hear new music from Beyonce and I guess it doesn’t hurt having Jay Z laying down the backing Tracks for the queen.
