Actress Billie Lourd paid an emotional tribute to her late mother, Carrie Fisher, on the second anniversary of her death, by performing of one of her mom’s favorite songs.

“It has been two years since my Momby’s death and I still don’t know what the ‘right’ thing to do on a death anniversary is (I’m sure a lot of you feel the same way about your loved ones),” she wrote on social media. “So I decided to do something a little vulnerable for me, but something we both loved to do together – sing.”

Lourd, 26, sat alone behind a piano and sang the song “These Days” in the two-part video.

“This is the piano her father gave her and this was one of her favorite songs,” she continued in her caption. “And as the song says, we must ‘keep on moving’.

As Radar readers know, Fisher suffered a massive heart attack on board an international flight on Dec. 23, 2016. She died on Dec. 27, at the age of 60.

Fisher’s mother, and Lourd’s grandmother, actress Debbie Reynolds, passed away the following day at age 84.

Fisher was best known for her portrayal of Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise. Lourd joined her mom in the film series as Lieutenant Connix starting with the recent trilogy sequel The Force Awakens.

In remembering her mom, Lourd revealed that what keeps her moving is doing things that make her happy, surrounding herself with loved ones

“I hope this encourages anyone feeling a little low or lost to “keep on moving,” she concluded the caption. “As my Momby once said, ‘take your broken heart and turn it into art’ – whatever that art may be for you.”
