Erika Jayne Finally Addresses Wild Divorce: It’s So F–king Complicated, Okay?!?

Erika Jayne has stated the obvious about her stunning divorce.

On Wednesday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the veteran Bravo star readied herself for the inevitable discussion with her cast mates about her split from husband Tom.

She knew it was coming.

She knew therer was a whole lot to discuss.

But she wasn’t sure where to even begin.

“There’s so many layers to this divorce. It’s so f–king complicated. It’s very difficult to explain,” Jayne said on air, marking one of the only occasions she’s even addressed the legal break-up.

“You know, I’m sure that they were very shocked and that they’re going to have a lot of questions,” she added about broaching the topic with her castmates face-to-face.

It’s true: As we documented in the recent past, yes, Erika’s co-stars were blown away when they heard this news.

The episode then teased Erika’s conversation with her fellow ladies, where she told them that she “did not see it ending this way” with Tom, adding:

“I was going to hold that man’s hand until he died.”

So, what happened? What went wrong?

The simple story is that Tom cheated on Erika and she has the receipts to prove it.

However, before any details emerged online, the cast gathered at Kyle Richards’ home for a 2020 election night party, without Erika and Garcelle Beauvais.

Kyle asked the group whether any of them had spoken to Jayne that day.

Yes, Lisa Rinna confirmed.

“I didn’t know [about the divorce] until she sent that text to us today at 9:15 [this morning],” Riinna explained.

“I instantly called her and, you know, I was just as surprised as we all were.”

Dorit Kemsley said she was similarly taken aback, although she and Kyle Richards cautioned that they simply “don’t know enough about what’s happening.”

Toward the end of the hour, at a different gathering, Beauvais chimed in.

“I was shocked to hear about Erika. I didn’t see it coming,” she said, echoing all the other sentiments and adding:

“I remember when I met her last year. We had this amazing lunch. And the moment she mentioned [Tom], she welled up. I felt the love, you know? And I said, ‘That’s what I want.'”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will, naturally, drag out this drama for as long as it can.

The episode thereforee concluded with Erika getting out of her SUV and making an entrance at Sutton’s …

… before “To be continued” flashed on the screen, frustrating all anxious and curious viewers.

As for what’s actually going on?

Jayne is right, things are complicated.

She filed for divorce from Tom in November after 21 years of marriage, saying via statement at the time that “this is not a step taken lightly or easily” but that she still has “great love and respect” for her huband.

In the months since the divorce filing, Tom has been caught up in a number legal controversies.

Among the seemingly endless array of lawsuits he faces includes one in which the former couple have both been accused of embezzling money.

Just this week, in fact, Jay Edelson — an attorney who has filed a class action lawsuit against the estranged couple — alleged that Erika was “knee-deep” in a scheme to steal millions of dollars from Tom’s clients.

She’s accused of helping Tom pocket the settlement money owed to family members of victims of the 2018 Lion Air crash.

Edelson even said her divorce filing was a “sham” to help her and Tom hide their stolen assets.

According to Page Six, Jayne has not been formally charged with any crimes.

The outlet recently reported that her attorneys – who were representing her in Girardi’s Chapter 7 bankruptcy case – dropped her following the recent release of a Hulu documentary.

It’s titled “The Housewife and the Hustler,” and it examines this alleged fraud case.
