Josh Duggar Spends Birthday All Alone, Gets Totally Ignored by Family

Josh Duggar celebrated a birthday on Thursday, March 3.

Actually, you know what?

We should rephrase this opening statement to be more accurate:

Josh Duggar had a birthday on Thursday, March 3. There was no celebration of any kind.

The father of seven was handcuffed and taken immediately into custody at Washington County Jail after a jury found him guilty on a pair of child sex abuse charges in December.

He was quickly moved into solitary confinement out of concerns for his safety — because pedophiles are often targeted by other inmates behind bars.

Due to COVID-19, no visitors are allowed at this facility.

As previously detailed, Anna Duggar has called her husband on numerous occasions over the past three months, but she was unable to see him on person for his birthday.

Moreover, Anna did not mention Josh on social media in honor of this occasion.

Neither did any member of the Duggar family, most of whom have been acting since this conviction as if the disgusting sex abuser doesn’t exist.

“The jail doesn’t do anything special for inmate birthdays,” an insider told The Sun this week, emphasizing what we mentioned above:

“There are no visits in-person right now because of Covid. Loved ones can set up video chats.”

As for what Josh dined on yesterday? We actually have that information!

According to In Touch Weekly, nothing unique was prepared for Duggarr.

But the lunch menu on Thursday consisted of taco meat, cheese sauce, chips, corn, taco sauce, butter, cornbread and a frosted dessert bar.

For dinner, he was served the scheduled meal of turkey tetrazzini, mixed vegetables, cornbread, butter and another frosted dessert bar.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar haven’t made a public reference to their oldest son since their post-conviction statement.

“This entire ordeal has been very grievous,” their message read at the time.

“Today, God’s grace, through the love and prayers of so many, has sustained us.

“Our hearts and prayers are with anyone who has ever been harmed through CSAM (child sex abuse material).”

Jim Bob and Michelle also vowed to help Josh’s wife, Anna, and their seven kids in the future.

“In the days ahead, we will do all we can to surround our daughter-in-law Anna and their children with love and support,” they said on December 10.

“As parents, we will never stop praying for Joshua, and loving him, as we do all of our children. In each of life’s circumstances, we place our trust in God.

“He is our source of strength and refuge. Thank you for your prayers.”

As far as we can tell, no assistance of any real kind has been offered to Anna.

Multiple sources have said over the past several weeks that Anna is scarcely even in contact with her in-laws because she still believes Josh is innocent and she’s angry over any statements any Duggars have made that imply the opposite.

Most recently, Anna wrote there’s more to Josh’s story, expressing hope he’ll be granted a new trial on appeal.

Despite some of his siblings turning against him, Anna “still loves” Josh and is “still not certain about her future,” In Touch has claimed.

“His actions have forced her to look at him as a fallen man who lost his way,” an insider previously told this outlet, noting that she “stood by” her supposed soulmate until “the bitter end and is “completely devastated.”

Concluded this article:

“Her family has been torn apart, but she knows it’s not just her family that’s been hurt. She’s trying to think about and pray for the innocent victims.”

Josh Duggar will be sentenced by a judge on April 5.

He’s eligible to receive a sentence of up to 40 years.

However, most experts believe he’ll be sent to federal prison for closer to a decade or so.
