US celebrity couple Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have visited an orphanage in Wakiso to donate pairs of Kanye’s ‘Yeezy’ brand sneakers to children.

Kanye promised to deliver more supplies, resources, architects, doctors, teachers, guides and musicians.

Local media said Kanye West was recording music for his next album “Yandhi” at a make-shift studio.

Kanye and Kim presented Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni with a pair of autographed white sneakers during a meeting aimed at promoting tourism in East Africa.

They were reportedly both given Ugandan names, “Kanyesigye” and “Kemigisha”, in return.
