Peppa Pig‘s social media accounts have been teasing a big announcement this week and we’ve just learned that the news involved Katy Perry!
The 38-year-old singer and American Idol judge has joined the cast of the animated series to celebrate its upcoming 20th anniversary.
Katy will be voicing a new character and will appear as a guest star in an episode of the three-part Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special, which will premiere in spring 2024, according to Deadline.

The outlet reports that Katy will voice the role of “dress maker Ms. Leopard, who assists with the preparations for the first-ever Peppa Pig wedding between Mr. Bull and Mrs. Cow.”
