Meghan McCain Labels Kanye West As ‘Unhinged And Erratic’ After Presidential Run Announcement – Says ‘He Can’t Be Taken Seriously!’

After his widely criticized announcement that he plans to run for president in the fall, Meghan McCain joined the large number of people also dragging Kanye West because of this reason! The View co-host did not hold anything back, calling the rapper ‘unhinged and erratic’ and even insisted that given his behavior in the past, he cannot ‘be taken seriously.’

In case it was not clear enough, Meghan McCain is not planning on supporting Ye if he’s even serious about declaring his candidature so late into the game.

The View co-host took to social media earlier today to react to Kanye’s original tweet, writing: ‘There is no woman on this planet, celebrity or not, who could behave as unhinged and erratic as Kanye West has for the past few years and be taken seriously as a presidential candidate. Women are punished for raising our voices on tv, let alone saying things like ‘slavery was a choice.’’

Of course, as you may remember, McCain made reference to the rapper’s controversial comments about racism from 2018 when he told Candace Owens for TMZ that ‘When you hear about slavery for 400 years … For 400 years? That sounds like a choice. You were there for 400 years and it is all of y’all. It’s like we’re mentally imprisoned.’

After declaring he wanted to run for president years ago, around the time Trump was elected, Kanye took to his Twitter on the Fourth of July as well to announce the same intention.

He wrote: ‘We must realize the promise of America by trusting God, [by] unifying our vision and building the future. I am running for president of the United States. #2020Vision.’

While some seemed to show him support, including billionaire Mark Cuban and Elon Musk, many others were either outraged or mocked the rapper. Do you think he’d make a good president or do you agree with Meghan McCain?
