Shocking breakup!

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have split after just eight months of marriage, RadarOnline.com can confirm.

The free-spirited singer, 26, “was the one to end it,” a source told Radar. “She said she wanted an open relationship. She wasn’t ready for just one person for forever.”

In addition, the more traditional actor, 29, wanted kids as soon as possible — but his younger wife was on an entirely different page, the source explained: “He wanted babies, and she just didn’t anymore.”

PEOPLE was first to report the separation.

“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” a rep for the singer said. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.”

Radar can exclusively reveal that the couple has not yet filed divorce papers in Tennessee, where they wed on December 23, 2018.

Still, it seems like Cyrus, who ditched her wedding ring in recent social media posts, has already moved on — with Brody Jenner’s recent ex, Kaitlynn Carter!

As Radar previously reported, the sexy blondes are currently on an Italian getaway in Lake Como.

Though they seem to be just friends in recent Instagram posts, the pair appear to be packing on the PDA and even kissing in shocking new photos.

After nearly ten years of an on-and-off romance, Radar first reported that Cyrus and Hemsworth wed in an intimate ceremony at their Nashville-area home last Christmas.

Carter, 30, and Jenner, 35, married in June 2018, and confirmed their split last week. It was later revealed that their Indonesian ceremony was never legal.
