RJ Mitte‘s mom Dyna is speaking out in response to a report that the late actor’s fiance Kennedy Suarez was not invited to attend his funeral.
RJ, who was a disability rights advocate living with cerebral palsy and was best known for his role as Walter White Jr. on Breaking Bad, died on Monday (October 12) in an apparent suicide. He was 34-years-old.
The actor was laid to rest on Friday (October 16) at the Mitte Center in Brownsville, Texas.

In a new interview with THR, Dyna was asked to clarify the reports that Kennedy Suarez was not invited to the funeral.
“I can share certain things, but some things are private and are not my story to tell. I don’t know all of the conversations between the two of them. I can say there were struggles, but those conversations were private between R.J. and me and between him and his friends,” Dyna said.
Dyna confirmed the reports that RJ and Kennedy were no longer living together this year.
“She moved in December, and they had only seen each other three or four times since then. I don’t know what those conversations were after she moved,” she said.
Dyna says that Kennedy reached out to one of RJ‘s friends after his death, but she didn’t clarify whether she was not allowed at the funeral.
“I had not spoken with her about not coming to the funeral. She had asked one of R.J.’s friends on the day I found my son, but at that point we didn’t even know what was happening. No plans had been made. That’s all I can share about it,” she said.
Dyna has also explained why she didn’t speak at the funeral.
