Sammi Giancola: Will She Return to Jersey Shore Now That Ronnie Magro’s Been Fired?

If you’ve been watching the show this past season, we probably don’t need to tell you that Jersey Shore Family Vacation would benefit from some sort of shake-up to liven up the proceedings.

It certainly looks like the guidos are having a good time on their vacation in the Poconos.

Unfortunately, there are times when it seems like they forgot that they’re there to make a TV show.

It’s not like we expect this gang of late-30 to early-40-somethings to be out starting fights on the Boardwalk anymore, but it’s possible that they might havr reached a point in their lives where they’re too well-adjusted to make compelling reality television.

The return of Angelina Pivarnick was a fun surprise back in the first season of JSFV, but since then, it’s been all sex dolls and catchphrases.

It seems the shows producers are aware of the need for more fresh blood, which is why they’ve been doing everything in their power to bring Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola back into the mix.

Unfortunately for them, it seems that Sammi has no interest in returning to the world of reality telelvision.

And now, it seems that Sammi ship may have finally sailed completely.

According to a new report from In Touch, MTV threw out their best offer yet when they learned about Sammi’s engagement to Christian Biscardi.

A source who spoke to the outlet says the network “approached Sammi after hearing about her engagement” and “offered to pay for her entire wedding if she filmed it.”

“She passed on this offer since she doesn’t want to be involved with ‘Jersey Shore’ and has moved on,” the source added.

“She isn’t after fame and money anymore.”

Yeah, if Sammi wouldn’t even take the network up on its offer of a free wedding, then it seems almost certain that she’s left her television days behind her.

The insider adds that Sammi “has no plans to return” to the Shore, adding:

“She likes to live her life privately now.”

Sammi and Christian called off their engagement back in June, and some fans were hopeful that newly-single Sammi might wish to re-join her former housemates.

However, when she addressed the break-up for the first time last month, she made it clear that that won’t be happening.

“Are you coming back to Jersey Shore? No. Are you single? Yes. Are you happy? YESSS!” Sammi asked herself and answered in a video that appeared on her Instagram Stories.

While she’s never explicitly stated that Ronnie Magro is her reason for steering clear of the show, she’s strtongly hinted that that’s the case.

“I have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and my relationship. I am not the same as I was when I was 22,” she wrote on Instagram shortly after the reboot was announced.

“At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially toxic situations,” Sammi added.

“It was a difficult decision as I love my roomies. I’ve decided to focus on me, my future and what truly makes me happy. I will forever be grateful to Jersey Shore and everything it has brought to me.”

That “toxic situation” is almost certainly Ronnie, whom Sam dated for several years.

Ronnie was fired from Shore earlier this month as a result of his second arrest on domestic violence charges.

Again, fans were hopefukl that the development might lead Sammi to make her long-awaited return to Shore, but it seems almost certain that that won’t be the case.

Instead, we’ll all have to come to terms with the fact that Sammi is officially done with the franchise that made her famous.
