Selma Blair apparently has a history with biting.
On Monday (October 12), the 54-year-old Cruel Intentions actress was aboard a flight from Los Angeles to JFK Airport in New York City when she allegedly “attempted to open the aircraft door while the plane was in the air.” The situation apparently got physical and Selma has been accused of “punching one flight attendant and biting another.”
After landing at JFK, Selma was arrested and taken to the hospital for an evaluation before eventually being released on bond.
After she was accused of biting a flight attendant, fans unearthed that Selma wrote about her history with biting people in social situations in her 2022 memoir, Mean Baby: A Memoir of Growing Up.
In her memoir, Selma included a chapter titled “Bite Me,” where she confessed to have bitten three celebrities at separate times over the years.

Sienna Miller
In the memoir, Selma wrote that she bit Sienna Miller on the arm when they first met the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, per People. The incident occurred some time after Selma got divorced from ex-husband Ahmet Zappa in 2006.
Selma wrote that she was enjoying meeting Sienna and “grabbed her arm and bit it, playfully, as if it were an apple.”
She claimed that Sienna “didn’t shame me” for the behavior.
Seth MacFarlane
Also in the memoir, Selma wrote about biting Seth MacFarlane at a nightclub in Los Vegas when they were introduced by mutual friend Seth Green.
Selma wrote that she bit the Family Guy creator because he was someone she admired, but she felt “as if I [did not] bring anything to the party” in that moment.
“‘Whoa!’ He yelled. ‘That really hurt,’” Selma wrote. “It wasn’t a disaster; I didn’t break skin. But I soon hated myself.”
In the years after the incident, Selma said that she has asked multiple people who also knew MacFarlane if he told them about the biting, and “invariably, they would say, ‘Yeah.’”
She also noted that the Las Vegas trip was organized by Scarlett Johansson, who has not invited her “anywhere since.”
Kate Moss
Kate Moss is another celebrity Selma apparently has bitten.
The Legally Blonde actress wrote that she once bit the English supermodel on her finger after they became friends. According to Selma, Kate “bit me back” after Selma bit her a second time.
“I loved how she bit me back, ‘cause that put an end to that,” Selma wrote of Kate‘s reaction to that incident.
During her court appearance after her arrest, Selma‘s attorneys revealed the apparent cause of her behavior for the alleged midair meltdown.
