Taylor Swift just revealed the exact date that she wrote her new single “Cardigan” and she happened to have posted to Instagram that day.
The 30-year-old singer took to Twitter on Monday (July 27) to thank fans for supporting her new album Folklore and announce a limited edition “Cardigan” single collection.
Taylor says the new edition of the single “has the original voice memo I sent Aaron for the song on April 27, 2020 (alternate lyrics included.)”
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Taylor posted this selfie to her Instagram account on April 27 along with the caption, “Not a lot going on at the moment.”
Seems like Taylor actually had a lot going on at that moment, though it was all kept a secret until the surprise release of Folklore last week!
Check out the super cool fan theory that connects all of the songs from the new album.
