‘Teen Mom’ Medical Crisis! Pregnant Amber Gets Shocking Diagnosis

“My morning sickness has been getting worse, so I went to the doctor and found out I have gestational diabetes,” says Amber Portwood in the latest shocking Teen Mom OG teaser.

“I feel like I could just like go to sleep right now,” the pregnant star tells boyfriend Andrew Glennon in the clip.

“I need to eat some fruit or something,” she adds as she cuddled up in her bed. “Maybe my sugar’s just low.”

A worried Glennon then hands her a fruit cup and sweetly feed her a piece of fresh fruit.

“I’m gonna look up some diabetes diets right now for you,” Andrew tells his leading lady.

Meanwhile, the famous mother looks depressed while eating fruit under her blankets.

“I can’t really enjoy my pregnancy as much,” she says, adding that she’s “always feeling tired, always feeling useless.”

Recalling her first pregnancy with daughter Leah, Portwood, 27, admits: “This pregnancy — I don’t know if it’s because I’m older — has definitely been a lot more rough.”

“Well, are you ready to change your diet?” answers Andrew.

“Yeah, we gotta keep the baby healthy,” says a glum Amber Portwood.

Gestational diabetes is a form of high blood sugar affecting pregnant women today.
