The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans are helping promote a good cause! In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, author Carmela Fazio-Florio opened up about her special needs books.

“The reason why I decided to write these books is because I’m a special education teacher,” Fazio-Florio told Radar. “My daughter has special needs. She was diagnosed with ADHD. I saw the need for books to explain to children about disabilities because my 9-year-old son had a lot of questions. His friends and her friends also had questions.”

Fazio-Florio is the author of Sally Slow to Speak and James and Awesome Autism, which are available on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles.

“I’ve been going around and reading the books to special education kids,” Fazio-Florio said. “The one thing at the end they learned is we can all play together. I’m hoping to get it in all schools.”

Fazio-Florio is currently working on a third book.

“I want to hit all the different disabilities,” she said. “Deaf, blind, children in wheelchairs. I want to show that it’s okay to be different.”

To help promote the books, Fazio-Florio has teamed up with Giudice, Evans and RHONJ star Danielle Staub.
