The final season of The Walking Dead has wrapped

Present since the 1st season, Daryl Dixon’s interpreter ended his participation in the zombie series and thanked the fans for the company.
The Walking Dead is on air with the second part, the final season. After that, eight episodes will be cast, arranging the location for the third episode and, thus, the AMC series grand finale. Although there are still two chapters left for the finale of the current installment, all shooting has already been completed. So the actors had to express goodbye to their characters with a lot of sorrow and old memories.
Some of them, like Melissa McBride (Carol), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Norman Reedus (Daryl), and Lauren Cohan (Maggie), do So with the assurance that they will resume playing in new projects in the franchise.
But the sequence that transformed their lives elevated the genre of zombie to the mainstream and worked to make a galaxy that will always be alive in fans’ minds (and hearts) is over.
Reedus, one of the most beloved veterans, shared a brief and emotional good-bye note on his Instagram account, including in the post a funny video he recorded with McBride and a photo with Michael Rooker, responsible for incarnating his brother in fiction, Merle. Both were documented during the 1st season of the sequel, which premiered in October 2010.
TWD will end in 2022 after 11 seasons and 177 episodes. During this time, two spin-offs were produced and released: currently, in its 7th season, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: World Beyond, already completed. Also on the horizon are Rick Grimes’ (Andrew Lincoln) movies and other films based on the same apocalyptic universe are also on the horizon.
One of them will star Reedus himself and McBride, who will reprise the roles of Daryl and Carol. Source
