Here’s a plot summary: “Once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.”
Director Johannes Roberts has said the reboot will be a more faithful adaptation of the original source material.
Avan Jogia and Kaya Scodelario play Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield from Resident Evil 2, alongside Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield and Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker.
The film is set to be released in theaters on November 24.
